Description
Standard Duty Deadlatch
The 4510 Standard Duty Deadlatches are designed for versatile access management in both business hours and after hours scenarios, ideal for sectors such as healthcare, financial services, and retail.
Functionality
The 4510 Series Standard Duty Deadlatch provides customizable traffic control, allowing for flexible access management. A reverse key turn retains the bolt, enabling two-way traffic during select periods, while restricting to exit-only access at others. This deadlock is interchangeable with any MS1850S Deadlock of matching backset and faceplate dimensions, without requiring stile modification, though it does not offer the same high-security level as the MS® Deadlock.
Operation
Operate the lock by turning the key or using a handle or paddle to retract the spring-loaded latchbolt. To keep the bolt retracted, push it in and lock it with a reverse key turn. This lock accommodates any standard mortise cylinder with MS® cam, available separately. It supports any conventional 1″ [25.4 mm] length, 1-5/32″ [29.4 mm] diameter mortise cylinder and thumbturn options, such as the 4036 Mortise Cylinder or 4066 Thumbturn, available separately. The lock accepts cylinders from one or both sides.
