Description
The Altronix ACMS8 module is a UL-listed component crafted for integration within Altronix wall-mounted and rack-mounted enclosures. This power distribution module is powered by eFlow series power supplies, featuring a dual-input design that facilitates power routing from two independent low voltage DC sources (ranging from 5 to 24 VDC) into eight independently managed, fuse-protected outputs. The ACMS8 can convert these outputs to dry form “C” contacts. Outputs are triggered by an open collector sink, as well as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry trigger inputs from various access control systems such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, or PIRs. It is specifically designed to distribute power to various access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. The outputs support both fail-safe and fail-secure operational modes. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface enables functionalities like emergency egress and alarm monitoring, and can trigger auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature can be individually configured for any or all of the eight outputs. Additionally, spade connectors enable you to daisy-chain power across several ACMS8 modules, thereby allowing for expanded power distribution across larger systems.
