The Altronix AL1024NKA8 sub-assembly module is a versatile power conversion solution, transforming a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight (8) fuse-protected outputs tailored for the security and access control industry. Featuring individually selectable outputs, this kit provides 12VDC or 5VDC up to 6A, and 24VDC up to 10A, offering a total power capacity of 240W. It supports a wide array of access control components, such as access control panels, door locks, and ancillary security devices. The power outputs can be configured to dry form “C” contacts and are activated via an open collector sink, normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) dry trigger input, or wet output from devices like Access Control Systems, Card Readers, Keypads, Push Buttons, and PIR sensors.
This module proficiently manages power distribution to various access control hardware including Magnetic Locks, Electric Strikes, and Magnetic Door Holders, with operational support in both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure modes. It incorporates a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface for Emergency Egress, Alarm Monitoring, or triggering auxiliary equipment, with a selectable fire alarm disconnect feature for each of the eight (8) outputs. Additionally, the spade connector design facilitates efficient daisy-chaining of power across multiple ACMS8 modules, enhancing power distribution capabilities for more extensive security systems.
