Description
The Altronix AL1024NKA8D assembly kit efficiently transforms a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight PTC protected outputs, tailored for access control systems. These outputs can be individually configured for either 12VDC or 5VDC up to 6A, or 24VDC up to 10A, offering a total power capacity of 240W, suitable for powering access control panels, door locks, and additional security devices. The adaptable power outputs can be converted to dry form “C” contacts. The outputs are activated through various inputs, including an open collector sink, normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) dry trigger input, or wet output from devices such as Access Control Systems, Card Readers, Keypads, Push Buttons, or PIR sensors. The AL1024NKA8D kit can deliver power to numerous access control hardware components like Mag Locks, Electric Strikes, and Magnetic Door Holders, operating effectively in both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure modes. Its FACP Interface supports Emergency Egress, Alarm Monitoring, and can serve as a trigger for other auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature is customizable for any or all eight outputs. Additionally, the kit’s spade connectors facilitate the daisy-chaining of power to multiple ACMS8 modules, enabling power distribution over more outputs for larger security system deployments.
