Description
The Altronix AL1024NKA8QM sub-assembly kit is engineered to transform a 115V AC 60 Hz input into eight outputs protected by fuses, catering to the power needs of access control systems, door locks, and other ancillary devices. These outputs can be individually configured to provide either 12V DC or 5V DC up to 6A, or 24V DC up to 10A, delivering a total power capacity of 240W. Additionally, the power outputs can be reconfigured to dry contact form “C.” Outputs are triggered by an open collector sink or a dry/wet input signal from devices such as access control systems, card readers, keypads, push buttons, or PIR sensors. The AL1024NKA8QM efficiently distributes power to various access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders, supporting operations in both fail-safe and fail-secure configurations. Its integrated FACP interface enhances emergency egress and alarm monitoring functions, and can also activate other auxiliary devices. The system features a fire alarm disconnect option, which is selectable on a per-output basis, for any or all eight outputs. With spade connectors, users can daisy chain power to multiple LINQ8ACM modules, facilitating power distribution across expanded systems. The built-in LINQTM Network Power Management system offers advanced monitoring, reporting, and control of power and diagnostics.
