MIFARE® DESFire® EV1 cards are engineered for various applications requiring the utmost security, such as access control, biometric identification, cashless vending, public transit, ticketing, and customer loyalty systems. Constructed from robust PVC and Composite PET/PVC materials, these cards are highly durable and capable of embedding contact chips for enhanced logical access and biometric ID integration.
These credentials offer 8 Kbytes of dynamic memory, systematically organized into distinct application folders and data files. Utilizing the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES 128), MIFARE DESFire EV1 ensures comprehensive data encryption, safeguarding information during transactions and within the credential’s internal structure.
With 13.56 MHz MIFARE DESFire EV1 read/write technology merged with 125 kHz Prox technology, these cards can be configured into a single ISO-standard thickness card. Custom programming with Indala formats is also an option, offering a seamless integration of MIFARE DESFire EV1 applications into existing Prox-based access control systems.
Designed for critical security and performance, MIFARE DESFire EV1 cards can incorporate visual security and anti-counterfeiting features such as holograms, ultra-violet fluorescent inks, micro-printing, or custom logos, facilitating easy authentication of genuine cards.
