With unparalleled reliability, manageability, and security, Switched Rack PDUs deliver advanced load management along with outlet-level power cycling and sequencing control for optimal performance.
Switched Rack PDUs offer advanced, customizable power control and active monitoring tailored for data center and edge environments. The remote outlet-level control feature enables on/off power cycling, allowing for remote equipment rebooting and restricting unauthorized outlet usage, thereby minimizing downtime. With outlet power sequencing and grouping, users can determine the power-up or power-down order of devices to prevent circuit overloads due to inrush current, and manage load shedding to save on energy costs. Power metering capabilities provide real-time remote monitoring of connected loads and issue alerts for potential overloads. Users can access, configure, and control Switched Rack PDUs through secure Web interfaces or via SNMP, with full compatibility with EcoStruxure IT. The new 9000 series Switched Rack PDUs include features such as Gigabit Ethernet, 1% metering accuracy, an operating temperature of up to 60°C (in select models), new C13/C15 and C19/C21 hybrid outlets, the ability to share a single network port across 32 PDUs, and enhanced cybersecurity measures.
