Description
The LEF-3 is a selective calling intercom master station designed for open voice communication, accommodating up to four stations in total. This intercom system is adaptable to a variety of configurations, allowing for any combination of master and sub-stations up to its maximum capacity.
Incoming calls from a sub or door station are indicated by a brief electronic mono-tone and an LED indicator, which stays lit for about 20 seconds. Communication at the calling master is facilitated through a press-to-talk, release-to-listen protocol, while the person at the receiving station can communicate hands-free. The master station operator can selectively connect and converse with any other sub or master station within the intercom network. The privacy feature on both the master and selected sub-stations ensures secure communication by preventing unauthorized eavesdropping from other master stations. A call can be received, but communication back to the calling master is heard only after the privacy setting is released.
Master stations can be mounted on a wall or placed on a desk. Sub-stations are available in both surface and flush mount designs, with optional privacy features. Outdoor stations also come in surface or flush mount options.
