**APPLICATION**
Fiber Optic Adapters are designed to facilitate the termination and connectivity of workstation cabling for both single-mode and multimode fiber optic cables. These bulkhead modules easily snap into any housing with compatibility for various configurations including flush-mounted and surface-mounted outlets, multimedia outlet systems (with adapter support), as well as fiber optic patch panels and patch blocks.
**SPECIFICATION**
Fiber Optic Adapters for cabling infrastructure are crafted for snap-in functionality in fiber optic panels. The LC, SC, and ST adapters are engineered for use with single-mode, multimode, and laser-optimized multimode fiber connectors. They are available with options for zirconia ceramic or phosphor bronze sleeves. ST and SC adapters are provided in standard color options, including ivory, white, gray, and black. For single-mode applications, SC adapters are available in blue for UPC and green for SC/APC identification. LC adapter housings are offered in standard colors as well as additional options like blue, yellow, red, green, and orange, supporting the Secure Keyed LC system. MTP adapter housings come in black and white to meet diverse infrastructure needs.
