The HES 9400 series is a space-efficient, outdoor-rated surface-mounted electric strike specifically engineered for rim exit devices featuring a 1/2″ Pullman latch. Its components are entirely enclosed within a 5/8″ thick stainless steel casing, eliminating the need for frame modifications during installation. Simply position the electric strike on the frame surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it. The HES 9400 includes a 1/8″ spacer plate to adapt to various door gap sizes. It surpasses Grade 1 standards for strength and performance and offers field-selectable options for fail-secure/fail-safe operation, as well as compatibility with both 12 and 24VDC. Featuring a smooth cover to hide mounting screws, this model delivers a sleek and polished appearance.
