Description
The American Fibertek MX-6p-PoE Series is an advanced networking solution that facilitates the transmission and reception of four copper 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet signals via RJ45 ports and two 1000 Base-X optical signals over one or two optical fibers. This system is composed of multiple units designed to establish a robust communications link.
This series is also capable of delivering power to connected devices through the RJ45 ports using PoE technology over the copper connection. Each of the four RJ45 ports can provide DC power, supporting either the 802.3af standard (delivering 15 watts) or the 802.3at standard (delivering 30 watts) to powered devices.
The MX-6p-PoE Series is specifically designed for scenarios requiring a 48-volt power input, making it ideal for applications such as security monitoring in solar farms. Customers must supply an external 48-volt power source adequate for their specific application needs. For optimal performance, it is recommended that the power source provides 70 watts for all four ports at 802.3af and 130 watts at 802.3at.
