Description

The Altronix eBridge1STR Ethernet over Coax adapter kit is designed to efficiently transmit data at 25Mbps while delivering power over coaxial cables in a PoE+ compliant format. The system’s eBridge1PCRM component receives power from an external midspan or endspan and enables the transmission of PoE/PoE+ power over the same coax cable to the eBridge1ST transceiver. This power is then provided to an IP camera or other powered device. These plug-and-play devices offer a cost-effective and straightforward solution for upgrading legacy analog systems to modern IP technologies using existing coaxial infrastructure, with a range of up to 500 meters.
