Description
The Pace1PRM functions as a long-range Ethernet receiver, drawing power from a PoE midspan, such as the Altronix Netway series, or directly from an endspan. It efficiently transmits PoE(+) compliant power over the Ethernet cable to the Pace1PTM transceiver, which subsequently powers connected IP cameras or devices. These plug-and-play solutions offer cost-effective options for deploying IP devices beyond the standard 100m distance. They also enable a straightforward transition from legacy analog systems to modern IP solutions using single twisted pair (UTP) or structured cabling. Key applications include retrofitting digital IP cameras into existing analog CCTV CAT5 or UTP setups, extending network link distances up to 610m in industrial contexts, and supporting Megapixel, HD720, HD1080, and VGA (SD) cameras with the appropriate headend equipment.
