Description
The Pace8PRM is a high-performance long-range Ethernet receiver designed for transmitting data at 100 Mbps in full duplex mode and delivering power over CAT5e or higher cable, adhering to PoE(+) standards. This receiver can be powered by a PoE midspan, such as the Altronix Netway series, or directly by an endspan. It efficiently transfers PoE(+) compliant power through the cable to the Pace1PTM transceiver, which subsequently powers an IP camera or similar device. These plug-and-play devices offer cost-effective solutions for installing IP equipment at distances exceeding 100 meters and provide a straightforward upgrade path from legacy analog systems to contemporary IP devices over structured cabling. Ideal applications include extending network link distances in industrial settings and supporting Megapixel, HD720, HD1080, and VGA (SD) cameras.
