The 5860 Remote Annunciator mirrors the sophisticated, user-friendly interface of the IntelliKnight panel’s integrated annunciator. Its 80-character display and ergonomic keypad ensure simple and accurate system management. Every function—including system reset, alarm silence, detector status checks, fire drills, and program settings—is consistent across all devices.
Secure access to the system is granted via a firefighter’s key or access code, with a special installation code required for programming. The 5860 connects to the IntelliKnight panel through an RS-485 system bus, supporting wire runs up to 6000 feet from the panel.
