Description
The ANN-100 annunciator is a backlit, 80-character LCD fire annunciator designed to replicate the display of a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). It features system status indicators for conditions like AC Power, Alarm, Trouble, Supervisory, and Alarm Silenced. The communication between the ANN-100 and the FACP is facilitated by a two-wire serial interface that utilizes the ANN-BUS communication protocol. Power to the connected devices is supplied through two additional wires, sourced either from the host FACP or a remote UL-listed, filtered power supply.
The ANN-100 displays English-language text detailing system point information, such as device type, zone, independent point alarm, trouble, or supervisory status, along with any custom alpha labels programmed into the control panel. It also includes control switches for remote management of critical system functions, with a keyswitch ensuring only authorized operation of these controls.
Up to eight ANN-100 units can be connected to each ANN-BUS on an FACP, eliminating the need for programming and thereby reducing system commissioning time.
