Description
The ES-200X fire alarm control panels feature an integrated communicator and support for up to 198 addressable devices, including 99 detectors and 99 modules. These panels bring a comprehensive suite of advanced features typical of Fire-Lite® addressable products, while also catering to applications traditionally served by conventional panels. The included IPOTS-COM communicator incorporates dual technology, combining POTS and IP capabilities. The POTS technology communicates system status alerts (such as alarms, troubles, and AC loss) through the public switched telephone network to a central monitoring station. Meanwhile, the IP communicator leverages internet connectivity for alarm signal transmission, eliminating the need for two dedicated business phone lines, though a secondary telephone line can be retained for backup communication purposes. Optional cellular reporting enhances flexibility. Users can perform remote and local programming of these control panels via the FS-Tools upload/download utility. Programming databases can be uploaded and downloaded through the panel’s USB port or via Ethernet using the IPOTS-COM communicator. The USB port further facilitates the transfer of the entire program, system history, walk-test data, current status, and system voltages with a USB flash drive. All electronics are mounted on a circuit board within a new rapid-install chassis, encased in a durable metal cabinet.
