Description
The MRP-2002 is a six-zone Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) designed for single and dual hazard agent releasing applications. It ensures dependable fire detection, signaling, and protection for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities that require agent-based releasing. This FACP is compatible with System Sensor’s i3 conventional smoke detectors, which can communicate maintenance trouble signals to the panel, indicating a need for cleaning, as well as a supervisory ‘freeze’ alert when temperatures drop below 45°F (7.22°C). Furthermore, the control panel supports conventional input devices, including two-wire and four-wire smoke detectors, pull stations, waterflow devices, tamper switches, and other normally-open contact devices. For a comprehensive list of compatible devices, refer to the FireLite Device Compatibility Document. The panel includes four outputs that can be programmed as Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) or releasing circuits. It also comes with three Form-C relays pre-programmed for Alarm, Trouble, and Supervisory functions, as well as 24 VDC special application resettable and non-resettable power outputs on the main circuit board. The MRP-2002 supervises all wiring, AC voltage, battery charger, and battery levels. When a compatible smoke detector or any normally-open fire alarm initiating device is activated, it triggers audible and visual signaling devices, lights up an indicator, displays alarm information on the control panel’s LCD, sounds the piezo sounder, activates the FACP alarm relay, and operates an optional module to notify a remote station or initiate an auxiliary control function. The MRP-2002E variant provides similar features but supports connection to 220/240 VAC. Unless specified otherwise, the details in this data sheet are applicable to both the 110/120 VAC and 220/240 VAC versions of the panels.
