Description
The B200S-WH is an advanced addressable sounder base in white, designed to deliver sound outputs at either high or low volume levels. It supports ANSI Temporal 3, ANSI Temporal 4, continuous tone, marching tone, and custom tone options, leveraging the LiteSpeed™ communication protocol.
The B200S and B200S-LF series sounder bases (B200S-WH/B200S-IV/B200S-LF-WH/B200S-LF-IV) share the same address as their paired detector but utilize a distinct device type within the fire alarm system loop.
A Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) can use the designated address to control a specific sounder or a group of sounders for activation. The control set offered by the FACP allows for flexible, event-triggered tone outputs, enabling the selection of volume levels (75 or 85 dBA), tone types (ANSI Temporal 3, ANSI Temporal 4, or March Time), and sounder groups. Additionally, certain FACPs provide the capability to configure custom tone patterns.
The B200S sounder base series is compatible with the System Sensor synchronization protocol. This compatibility ensures their effective integration into general evacuation alarm systems, alongside other System Sensor audio-visual appliances, when connected to a power supply or FACP output, capable of generating the necessary System Sensor synchronization signals.
