Description
The B200SR-LF-WH and B200SR-LF-IV sounder bases are engineered for integration with addressable detector heads. For detailed sensor information, please consult the relevant manual. These sounder bases emit a low-frequency tone around 520 Hz, a frequency proven to be highly effective in awakening individuals in sleeping areas due to its superior auditory alert capabilities. Both models offer extensive configurability to meet or surpass the stringent standards set by UL268 and UL464.
Designed for adaptability, the sounder base can deliver either the ANSI Temporal 3 pattern, a three-pulse fire alarm signal mandated by NFPA 72 for commercial and residential settings, or a continuous tone—simply by removing an included jumper. Moreover, the B200SR-LF-WH/B200SR-LF-IV models maintain compatibility with existing installations of B501-Series sounder bases, making them ideal for intelligent system applications.
These sounder bases require an external 24 VDC power supply, with electrical separation for the connections between the external power supply and the communication loop to prevent interference. Please refer to the control panel manual for details on the maximum number of units allowable per communication loop.
