Intelligent white sounder base engineered for retrofit applications, capable of emitting sound in ANSI Temporal 3 or continuous tones. Designed specifically for dwelling units, these sounder bases, compatible with addressable detector heads, offer extensive configuration options to align with UL268 and UL464 standards.
These sounder bases can generate the ANSI Temporal 3 fire alarm signal, as mandated by NFPA 72 for both commercial and residential settings, or a continuous tone by removing the included jumper. They are compatible with existing B501-Series sounder bases and are tailored for use in intelligent systems.
Requiring an external 24 VDC power supply, the sounder base isolates connections for the power supply and communication loop, preventing electrical interference. Please consult the panel manual for information on the maximum number of units allowed per loop.
