The DNR duct smoke detector, featuring a NEMA-4 rated enclosure, is designed for watertight and UV-resistant protection against environmental factors such as falling dirt, rain, windblown dust, and water exposure, making it suitable for use in extreme industrial environments. Engineered to detect smoke in challenging conditions, this unit operates effectively within airflow speeds ranging from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute (0.5 to 20.32 m/s), in temperatures from -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C), and in humidity levels from 0 to 95 percent (non-condensing). The advanced cover design isolates the sensor head, facilitating maintenance, and includes a tamper detection feature to signal any trouble due to a removed or improperly installed sensor cover. The Fire•Lite InnovairFlex housing provides a 3/4-inch conduit knockout and ample space for convenient wiring and relay module installation. Additionally, the Fire•Lite InnovairFlex duct smoke detector is customizable to meet local codes and specifications without requiring additional wiring and is compatible with all previous Innovair models, including remote test accessories.
