The video-based fire detection solution is ideal for applications requiring dependable video motion and fire detection, particularly in scenarios not covered by construction product regulations or as a supplement to existing fire detection systems. The AVIOTEC IP starlight 8000 functions as a standalone unit, eliminating the need for an external evaluation unit. It incorporates advanced Intelligent Video Analytics, allowing for simultaneous analysis and assessment of moving objects. These systems can operate independently and are adjustable separately. The device features a 10/100 Base-T Fast Ethernet port, facilitating easy connectivity to Ethernet for straightforward configuration and monitoring via network devices such as client PCs or mobile devices. Additionally, a video recording management system can be optionally integrated. The device includes a relay output for transmitting alarm signals to systems like the FPA-5000 fire alarm panel, enabling the camera to function as a supervisory signal-initiating device. Due to the absence of specific standards, alarms require verification by an operator at a monitoring center, and automatic forwarding to fire services is not included.
