The DSC MX916 is an advanced addressable loop smoke and heat detector engineered for integration with the IQ Pro security panels. To deploy any MX series devices, it is essential to install an HSM3105 MX addressable loop module with the IQ Pro system. Upon integration of this module, a variety of MX detectors, including these smoke detectors, can be utilized with the IQ Pro. The MX916 features three detection modes: optical, heat-enhanced optical, and a fixed temperature setting of 200° F (93°C). This versatility ensures comprehensive detection capabilities for various fire types, ranging from smoldering incidents to active flames.
