Description
The ECC-50W-25V is a 25V, 50-watt audio amplifier module designed for expanding audio systems. By integrating a second speaker circuit, the total power output can be boosted to 100 watts, enhancing system capacity or providing a backup audio amplification option.
The ECC-50/100 and ECC-50/100E are versatile emergency voice evacuation panels engineered for fire safety and mass notification applications. These systems deliver 50 to 100 watts of audio power, efficiently distributed across up to eight speaker circuits, also referred to as zones. These models come equipped with a single speaker circuit and an integrated 25Vrms, 50-watt amplifier.
An additional 50-watt amplifier (ECC-50W-25/70V) can be incorporated into the system to either serve as a backup for a single speaker circuit or to extend the system capability to supply two speaker circuits with an extra 50 watts of audio power. By adding an optional ECC-CE6 module, the system can be expanded to manage up to eight speaker circuit outputs. Speaker output circuits can be wired in either Style Y (Class B) or Style Z (Class A) configurations.
The ECC-50/100(E) offers fourteen field-programmable messages, each up to 60 seconds long, and features built-in, field-configurable pre- and post-announce tone generators. Additionally, it provides a fully supervised Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) with 2.0 amps of synchronized NAC power. The panel includes three built-in Form-C relay contacts (AC power, trouble, and MNS active), a NAC follower input for activating the onboard NAC circuit, and 500mA special application power. The integrated switch-mode power supply ensures reliable power delivery to the panel, alongside an onboard battery charger capable of charging batteries up to 26AH, although the ECC enclosure accommodates up to 18AH batteries.
