Description
The ELK-M1XSP is a versatile integration solution offering three functionalities in one device for expanded serial port capabilities and seamless integration with lighting systems and thermostats. The M1XSP features configurable jumpers to select the desired application, connection, and communication protocol. A standout advantage of the M1XSP is its operation via the 4-wire RS-485 M1 Keypad data bus, enabling RS-232 ports to be positioned at significant distances from the main control unit. The M1 Gold and M1EZ8 systems can accommodate up to seven M1XSP units. The communication baud rate is flexible, ranging from 300 to 38,400 baud. This unit is supplied complete with the necessary cable and a durable black surface mountable housing.
