Description
The B465 Conettix Universal Dual Path Communicator is an essential device in the security and fire alarm industry, designed to convert Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) digital dialers or dry contact outputs from intrusion and fire control panels into IP signals for transmission over Ethernet or cellular networks. This dual-path communicator is compliant with UL 864 10th Edition standards as outlined by NFPA 72 version 2013. It seamlessly connects via its built-in Ethernet connection and can also utilize an optional Conettix plug-in cellular module (B440/B441/B442/B443) to efficiently transmit reports to central station receivers. Installation is hassle-free, as the automation programming for the supported control panel remains unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition from PSTN to IP. All internally generated messages by the B465 are displayed in Contact ID format at the central station. The communicator is versatile, operating with power from a 16.5 VAC transformer or a 24 VDC power supply.
