Description
The B465 Conettix Universal Dual Path Communicator is an advanced solution for converting Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) digital dialer outputs or dry contact signals from intrusion and fire control panels into IP signals. It facilitates seamless transmission over Ethernet or cellular networks for enhanced communication reliability. This communicator is fully compliant with UL 864 10th Edition and NFPA 72 standards, version 2013. It features a built-in Ethernet connection and can optionally integrate with Conettix plug-in cellular modules (B440/B441/B442/B443) to transmit reports to a central monitoring station. Importantly, the installation of the B465 module does not necessitate any changes to the existing automation programming of the control panel, thereby streamlining the transition from PSTN to IP communications. The device ensures all internal messages are relayed in Contact ID format to the central station, providing consistent and reliable reporting. Powering options for the module include a 16.5 VAC transformer or a 24 VDC power supply, ensuring flexibility in installation.
