Description
The ELK-9200 is a robust relay/contactor housed within a secure metal enclosure, engineered for remote management of high-current applications like electric water heaters, pumps, motors, and gates. Its energizing coil operates at 110 VAC, while the relay contacts are capable of switching 220 VAC at currents up to 60 Amps. Prewired with a 3-prong plug-in cord, the relay coil is compatible with a wide range of appliance-style automation modules (sold separately), including technologies such as UPB, Insteon, Z-Wave, Zigbee, and X10. By sending a simple remote command, the lower current automation module can be activated to engage the high current contacts of the ELK-9200 relay, enabling safe and efficient on/off control of electrical currents up to 60 Amps.
