Description
The Model DXS-91 Supervised Glass Break Detector Transmitter is an advanced glass break detector integrated with a transmitter, specifically designed to be compatible with Linear’s DXS and DX Format receivers. When glass breakage is detected, the transmitter emits a digitally coded signal to its paired receiver/control panel.
Featuring a digital DX code format with over one million potential codes, each transmitter is uniquely pre-coded at the factory, eliminating the need for field coding. The DXS-91 is capable of transmitting three distinct signals: alarm, low battery, and status updates.
This unit is powered by two 3-volt lithium batteries, which are expected to last approximately two and a half years under typical conditions. Should the battery voltage fall below a predetermined level, a low battery signal is transmitted with each alarm or test message.
