The ASP-MG24TDB elevates sound masking control to new heights with advanced time-based level control, while also enhancing speaker processing for widely used audio systems. This 1RU unit features a 2-input and 4 masking generator by 4 output DSP, all easily configured through an intuitive setup GUI.
The system includes four independent white/pink noise generators with variable ramp-up for gradual sound masking, and two additional inputs for microphones or line sources, enabling seamless integration of paging or music with sound masking across the four outputs. Each generator output is supported by a dedicated 1/3 octave filter set, and there are 8-band parametric EQ blocks with dynamic control available for the mic/line inputs. This allows for flexible matrixing of all six inputs to the four output DSP blocks, offering further options for parametric equalization, delay, and limiting.
The ASP-MG24TDB is designed for easy configuration of complex 4-zone sound masking systems, supporting two external music or page sources. Its internal module provides timing and level control for all four masking inputs, accommodating weekday, weekend, and holiday scheduling.
In addition to masking, the ASP-MG24TDB is versatile in speaker control, operating in a 2-input x 4-output mode for stereo full range. It seamlessly manages configurations that include full-range plus subwoofer operation, compatible with FAP ceiling speakers, SM series surface mount speakers, or AH series stadium horns, offering comprehensive management of crossover types, equalization, delay, and dynamics.
Connectivity is streamlined with USB, RS-232, and Ethernet options, eliminating the need for difficult USB-to-Serial adapters. An internationally-certified voltage power supply is included for easy installation.
