The SHS-LF features a concealed enclosure housing four low-frequency drivers to deliver exceptional deep bass performance, making it an impressive addition to any audio system. This discreet subwoofer is sure to captivate listeners with its powerful sound. It includes a 70V/100V transformer with primary power taps at 1.9, 3.8, 7.5, 15, 30, and 60 watts (@70.7V) for seamless integration and balance with full-range speakers, eliminating the need for additional amplification. A tap selector switch offers a transformer bypass option for 8Ω / direct-coupled applications.
The SHS-LF is designed with installers in mind, featuring an integrated rail system for ease of installation. Components such as tile rails are built into the enclosure, requiring no rail screws. Simply extract the four rails, drill a 2.75″ hole in the ceiling tile, position the product, and attach the adaptive dispersion lens. This unit allows use of the Adaptive Dispersion Lens in two configurations. For ceilings between 10′ and 14′, utilize the 8mm dispersion lens with the solid cover. For ceilings over 14′ or high-output applications, employ the direct fire lens with the perforated panel.
A patented 3″ diameter dispersion lens, equipped with a micro trim ring, achieves the inconspicuous design, reducing its visual footprint to that of a premium ceiling sprinkler head. Through the use of DesignLab’s advanced UV printing technology, custom color matching can be achieved for seamless ceiling integration. This service allows integrators to submit a ceiling sample or image for precise lens and trim ring color customization, ensuring perfect aesthetic alignment with the surrounding environment.
