The GD00Z-8 is the latest advancement in the popular range of Z-Wave enabled remote garage door status indicators and activators, offering S2 security and over-the-air (OTA) capability. This device allows for remote opening or closing of a sectional garage door through a Z-Wave certified Gateway or Security Panel. It is compatible with nearly any garage door opener paired with a sectional garage door. The system provides audible and visual alerts before remotely activating door movement, ensuring compliance with UL 325 safety standards. Additionally, the included tilt sensor delivers accurate “open” or “close” status updates.
