The AXIS F4005 is a compact, easy-to-install recessed dome surveillance sensor tailored for discreet indoor video monitoring in retail, office, and banking environments. With the included mounting adapter, this sensor unit can also be securely installed on hard surfaces.
Seamless Installation of Recessed Dome Surveillance Systems
Designed for integration with an AXIS F Main Unit, the AXIS F4005 offers 1080p resolution and an impressive 113º horizontal field of view. Its extensive tilt range of 120° allows optimal adjustment for the desired surveillance area. The AXIS F4005 supports Axis’ Corridor Format, ideal for vertically aligned surveillance spaces like staircases, hallways, and aisles, and includes a rotation tool for precise image leveling. A 12-meter (39 ft.) cable is provided for connection to the main unit.
Advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) – Forensic Capture Technology
The AXIS F4005 comes with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) – Forensic Capture capability, which can be engaged when paired with a compatible main unit. This technology ensures that every detail is captured in both bright and dark areas of a scene, providing the same superior video performance as the AXIS F1005-E Sensor Unit.
