Description
The AMX SVSI N2000 Series leverages JPEG2000 compression technology to deliver HD, cinema-quality video distribution over LAN networks, catering to applications where optimal video quality is essential. The NMX-DEC-N2222A-C Decoder plays a crucial role by converting streams back into DVI or HDMI formats, enabling display on any connected monitor. It pairs seamlessly with the NMX-ENC-N2122A encoder (available in standalone or card format) to encode and distribute video sources of nearly any format onto existing IP networks, thus making streams accessible to any endpoint within a facility. This setup facilitates the direction of any video stream to any display, allowing for the easy deployment of expansive, cost-effective switching and distribution solutions without the need for proprietary cables or dedicated switching hardware.
The NMX-DEC-N2222A-C is equipped with a Local Play feature, permitting users to upload and store up to 8 playlists, each containing a maximum of 64 JPEG or PNG files. In the event of a video stream interruption, these pre-stored images are displayed, preventing monitors from going blank.
The device comes with additional features such as IR, serial, balanced audio support, AES67 compatibility, and dual network ports, with one supporting PoE. It offers digital video output exclusively.
