The NMX-ENC-N1134A empowers the N1000 series with outstanding video encoding capabilities for HD-SDI inputs in the realm of AV over IP. This allows for direct integration of SDI signals into the network, eliminating the need for additional SDI to HDMI converters and their associated costs. Unlike typical Networked AV systems that use SDI connections with H.264 or H.265 codecs, which introduce significant compression and latency, our minimally compressed IP format preserves exceptional video quality and ensures near-zero latency. Once on the network, the SDI stream can be effortlessly decoded using any N1000 Decoder.
The N1000 Series Encoders and Decoders offer a cost-effective local AV over IP switching solution, converting video signals into a minimally compressed IP format. This setup can scale from a compact 2×1 seamless presentation switcher to a comprehensive 32×32 matrix switcher by leveraging standard off-the-shelf layer-3 network switches. Any video source can be distributed to multiple displays through routing via layer-2 or layer-3 switches using conventional Cat5e cabling.
